The challenge for June (and the rest of eternity if you so please) is sharing music or concert videos where the members are.... rather touchy-feely with each other, to say the least. We all love homoerotic fanservice around here, surely. Well now's your chance to show your favorite moments! Have fun and don't forget to be yourself 🖤🎶

I'm up! Which makes it officially Saturday here on vkotd. And a new Saturday from April 25th to May 15th means a new challenge.

This week's challenge is this:

Playin'... what? You decide! Fill in the blank with the songs you know are bad, or songs you know would be considered bad by the wider public. Something you play in the car ride that makes the whole gang want to beat you up. Songs that make the person you showed it to temporarily think of you as a lesser person. Songs that filter "normies". Things like that! Fill in the blank for us.

The raffle entry limit has also reset, so if you hit the limit last week you can once again have your name entered 3 more times. If you forgot what "the raffle" is, here's how it works again:

1. Every Saturday until 3W4DW ends, or on the 25th, 2nd, and 9th, I'm posting a new challenge prompt.


2. Your username will be put into a list every time you post an entry or top comment here from April 25th to May 15th, with a maximum of 3 name-entries per week (with a new week starting on Saturday).


3. You don't actually have to do the challenges; posting whatever is fine.


4. You can comment on old entries too.


5. A winner will be randomly selected midnight morning of the 16th (UTC−05:00) or whenever I wake up after that.


6. The winner will receive 175 Dreamwidth Points, enough to purchase a paid account for 6 months! Not a premium one, a regular paid one.


7. I will contact the winner first, and if they say they don't want it then I'll randomly select someone else.


8. Only members and subscribers are eligible.

Hello everyone 👋 I hope you're all settled in and ready for the first challenge! From Friday, January 16th 0:00 ~ Thursday, January 22th 23:59 is our first challenge, 2025 In Review.

For this challenge, I want you to share your visual kei song(s) of last year, whether that be the song with the most plays, the song you liked the most, your favorite song(s) by an artist you discovered in 2025, or what song describes how 2025 felt for you. If it has to do with you and 2025, it's fair game.

Please put the name of the challenge in the entry, whether it be in the subject line or actual content, and tag the post as challenge. The comment should say how the song relates to the theme, and that's it! You're done! Reminder that you can share multiple songs in one entry as long as you use a cut after the first large embed, and that you can do the challenge multiple times (ex. you can share your song with the most listens one day, and then the best song you found last year on another day).

Lastly, the date for the challenge is just a suggestion, and if you're reading this from far in the future and want to do this challenge, you absolutely can. We want to hear what songs you have to share any time :]
